Greetings!

I am happy to invite you to the 35th Annual New England Adoption Conference Whole Life Adoption sponsored by Adoption Community of New England, Inc. (ACONE). Registering as soon as possible will give you the best opportunity to get into your first choice of workshops at the largest conference of its kind in North America.

ACONE is excited to have Jayne E. Schooler, BA, MBS as the Keynote Speaker and featured workshop presenter. Jayne has over thirty years of experience in child welfare, first as a foster parent, then as an adoptive parent, adoption professional and educator. She is the author of six books in the adoption field. Jayne is a frequent speaker at conferences and training events across the country for triad members and professionals.

This unique event is made possible by the generous donation of time and talent of the volunteers who help in the months before the conference and on conference day.

There are new workshops as well as new presenters for some traditional topics. Whether you are beginning the adoption process, parenting a teen, experiencing life as a birth parent, an adopted person, or contemplating search and reunion, you will find workshops to fit your needs. Workshops are coded to describe their intended audience and suggested tracks have been provided to assist in your workshop selection.

ACONE members can bring their extended family at the members' fee. This is a great way to educate grandparents, grandparents-to-be, aunts and uncles, etc. Adoptive parents may also bring their child/children's birth family as extended family. Just be sure to put the member's name on the appropriate line on the registration form.

The Board of ACONE, the Conference Committee and I hope you will find your conference day educational, rewarding and enjoyable.
