Sharing the Journey
It is a way for members to connect with other ACONE members who are living through, or have lived through certain life experiences. If you are either at the same point in the adoption journey, or seeking to connect with someone who is farther along and can provide insight. Only information you are willing to share will be shared. The information is divided into two sections.
About Me/My Family
Fill out the participant profile which will ask basic questions about you and/or your family as well as how you would like to be contacted.
Looking to Connect With
Complete the request form and return to our office.
Each has a check list of things you can decide to share or not. Examples of things to share are: are you an adoptee, a birth family member or adoptive family? Have you searched, decided not to search, considering searching, in the process of searching, search and found, or searched and not found? The adoptive family section includes description of the family, age and ethnicity of children, age at placement, and other questions relevant for their needs.
