Legal Aspects of Adoption 

This seminar will cover the legal and procedural aspects of growing your family through domestic or international adoption. Attorney Friedman will answer your questions and help you understand the options and opportunities for expanding your family through adoption as well as provide practical tips, costs and rewards of this path to parenthood.

Presented by Herbert D. Friedman, Esq. Attorney Friedman, an adoptive parent, is experienced in the legal aspects of both adoption and ART.

ACONE's Hague training series is designed to provide 10 hours of training in intercountry adoption topics as required by Hague Regulations (22 CFR 96.48). ACONE does not imply, nor should it be assumed, that these training hours will be recognized by all adoption service providers. Please discuss training attendance with your placement and home study providers to ensure that training plans are compatible with providers' requirements.
