The Silent Children in the Adoptive Blended Family

Adoptive blended families are formed by joining children by birth and adoption. As the family tries to cope with the needs of the adoptive child- the needs of the birth child can be overlooked. This workshop is designed for parents who chose to blend their family or are thinking about blending their family through adoption. How will you ensure all the members of the family are visible? This workshop is for parents wanting to hear the effects of blending a family from parents who saw the challenges and rewards of raising birth and adopted together in one family.

Lead Presenter: Julie Pelletier Rutkowski, MS, RN
